Moodymann has revealed details of a 12-track LP called ABCD: The Album, due out soon on his own Mahogani Music label.
Though the exact release date for the record hasn’t been revealed, we do know that it’ll comprise 12 tracks spread across two slabs of vinyl, and come through the producer’s own label, Mahogani Music. The name of the record suggests it’s a follow-up to ABCD, the mini-album that arrived through Mahogani earlier this year.
The opening track, “Hold It Down,” was previously released on an album for Scion AV in 2012, but other than that ABCD: The Album appears to be new material. The LP’s artwork features a painting of the producer, real name Kenny Dixon Jr., looking vaguely demonic.
