This Saturday 24th August, Groovement Soul will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. To help us celebrate this milestone in style we have drafted in special guest, Mad Mats to take the roof off the Grand Social. We’re talking about a real DJ’s DJ…PERIOD. He’s got the technical skills, musical history and never-ending hunger for underground dance music. Basically he’s got the full package. His international DJ and label head honcho career spans over 25 years. This open minded b-boy has got some serious skills and has on a number of occasions been voted Sweden’s Best DJ. With his remarkable and open minded variation you can easily find him spinning house/techno, hip hop/r&b or retro soul, funk & disco. What he loves to do best and what we’ll have the pleasure of hearing him do at our anniversary party is A Free Style Session and we can not wait!
Since 2003 Groovement Soul have strived to celebrate and share our passion in searching out and playing the best quality music from around the world. The best in Latin, Jazz Funk, 70s Soul, 80s Boogie, Nu Soul, Disco, Hip Hop, Philly Soul, Deep & Soulful House Music is what you hear at our various nights and guest slots over the last 10 years.
While on the journey we’ve had the pleasure of bringing the cream of the Soulful Underground Dance scene to Dublin.
